up is if your house has really old electrical wiring (from the 1950's or older), the dryer vent is non-standard or missing,
or if there is a problem with your plumbing - check to ensure you have a dryer vent (not just a hole in the wall) and that
the supply faucets/valves for the washing machine are not leaking!
